Samuel was born and brought up in Wiltshire, England. He was educated at Winchester and then Clare College, Cambridge.

During his time at Cambridge, among other things Samuel was master of the Cambridge University Draghounds and manager of the College Bar, he also completed a masters degree in Engineering.

He's built a number of websites which can be seen here on the sites page, he's also developed a number of applications using a range of technologies, chiefly Python, Matlab and Microsoft .Net framework.

Samuel at present works for an oilfield services company in Jakarta, Indonesia as a Field Engineer.
